Olympia Gymnastic Sports is the amalgamation of three Canterbury clubs: Avon City Gymnastics, Kudos Rhythmic Academy and Aerials Trampoline. Planning for the amalgamation commenced in January 2000 and culminated in the move into the Wigram Gymnasium on 1 st July 2003 .


Olympia Gymnastic Sports is a new breed of gymnastics club in that it combines coaching expertise from four different types of gymnastic sports (women's artistic gymnastics, men's artistic gymnastics, rhythmic sportive gymnastics and trampolining) In Addition Olympia offers a wide variety of recreational and adult programmes. We currently have approximately 450 athletes training with us and are continually expanding.


Olympia Gymnastic Sports' objective is to promote excellence in gymnastics sports, with coaches focused on the fostering of highly successful athletes whilst still retaining a safe, positive environment and offering opportunities for participants at all levels.

Welcome back to our Trampoline Athletes who represented New Zealand in Japan at the Indo Pacific Championships. James Darroch, Rosie Gordon and Kyla Higgins, as well as Hayley Payne and Pam Higgins who went as Chaperones! Fantastic effort Guys! Unfortunately due to Injuries Jared Cooper Sarah Reiher and Sarah Pascall had to withdraw from the competition!
